IDO 49 prepped for tomorrow. This is a large unique dataset of sentiment analysis from Crypto Twitter relating to Polkadot ($DOT). Each tweet mentioning '$DOT' or 'Polkadot' is recorded, categorized, and assigned a sentiment score using machine learning and natural language processing techniques. The sentiment score ranges from -100 (negative) to 0 (neutral) to 100 (positive). This dataset consists of both historical data and live data updated on an ongoing basis.
Crypto Twitter moves markets. Sentiment data is highly valuable to crypto institutional and retail investors because good data provides actionable insights into the market. Sentiment data allows investors to analyze the market based on the tokens that are being discussed the most, the emotional state of the market, and whether sentiment is positive, neutral, or negative around each individual token. Such analysis, especially when combined with natural language processing and machine learning techniques, helps investors spot tokens that are trending or capitulating, identify entry and exit points, and understand which topics of discussion (e.g. DeFi, farming) are hot in the market.
This is a massive dataset, with over 1 million tweets! Also included are all of the supporting details from the tweets, such as the number of likes, retweets, cashtags + hashtags included, the tweeter, and the timing of the tweet.
